Policy to Action: Improving Access to Healthcare Among the Poor

Constella Futures and the USAID Health Policy Initiative, Task Order 1 co-hosted a meeting at the National Press Club focusing on poverty and access to family planning and reproductive health. Two panel discussions addressed linkages between family planning and poverty, the importance of involving the poor in policymaking, and approaches to improving access to healthcare.

The panel “Mobilizing public and private sector resources for the poor” was moderated by Charles Griffin, The Brookings Institution, and "Strategies and tools for addressing poverty and health” was moderated by Ruth Levine, Center for Global Development.
